Our doubts are traitors,
and make us lose the good we oft might win,
by fearing to attempt.

~Shakespeare, Measure for Measure

Selling things, things I have collected, things that often defined me. Hunter, Home Brewer, Biker, all the “things” that also seem to anchor me. It’s understandable that it would be difficult I suppose.  Can’t have your cake and eat it to.

  1. Hey OneWS!

Thank you for commenting. That quote has always spoken to me. The two years we are taking to get our house in order will go by fast, and I am sure that it will be a struggle, but it will be worth it. Also, I love your blog!

  2. Hi Dan,
It took us maybe two months to sell everything that we are now buying back, 15 years later. We felt that the speed of things happening told us it was meant to be. Freedom has many faces. Ours was on the road for a long while and now is on our own remote place where we have the freedom to live as we want. Brewing beer is in the future. We have so many stories about the RV life we wouldn’t know where to start. Best of luck with your adventure. May it go as well as ours.

  3. Hey Bob,
Thanks for the comment. We are still working on it. Selling a bit each month and cleaning out the closets for Salvation Army. Its amazing how much “stuff” we have tucked away and that we never use! All the folks who have shared their experiences have been an inspiration to us. Some days I wish it was more like a band-aid and just BANG and have I done with but I know we need to learn quite a bit about the life style and about ourselves.
Good luck with the Brewing – I have enjoyed drinking beer I made – even some of the bad ones….
